Broken Social Scene is a canadian based band that features varying artists. From Emily Haines to Leslie Feist & Amy Millan (stars). these are my favorites of the myriad of other performers who have contributed- no they are not limited to female indie icons.
Their sound can be anywhere from mellow instrumental, to pop sounding, to a little bit bizarre, like the song i have here, “Anthems for a Seventeen Year-Old Girl” I am absolutely obsessed with the song.
